Now hiring: marble cutter (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a marble cutter in Walthall County, Mississippi. The job is in a stone processing yard. On the job you will handle: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting Requirements: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
