Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Pleasants County, West Virginia. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
