Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in City of Covington, Virginia. Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence You will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
