Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
