Access scaffolder — City of Portsmouth

Immediate opening: we are hiring an access scaffolder in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. You will work at a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform. What we are looking for: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Full-time with occasional weekends.
