Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Culpeper County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time with occasional weekends.
