Great opportunity: we are hiring an oven operator in Clay County, South Dakota. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Day-to-day duties: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Six days a week, one day off.
