Production operative — Karnes County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production operative in Karnes County, Texas. The job is in a packaging factory. Day-to-day duties: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Overtime paid at a premium rate.
