Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
