Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Saint Louis County, Minnesota. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience.
