Join our team: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
