Metal caster wanted in Brighton and Hove

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Brighton and Hove, England. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
