Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Scott County, Kentucky. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 2+ years on the tools preferred.
