Gas appliance installer — Mecklenburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
