System scaffolder • Yakurr, Cross River State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Yakurr, Cross River State. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. On a typical shift you will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
