Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. You will work on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
