Sample machinist — Kershaw County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Kershaw County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
