Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Sandwell, England. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. Day to day you will lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
