The role involves deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Full-time with occasional weekends.
