On a typical shift you will solder and heat-shrink wiring joints; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits; repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms; service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter.
