Urgent requirement: shakeout operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
