Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in New Madrid County, Missouri. The job is at a garment factory. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
