Tandoor cook • Elkhart County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
