Hoist operator • Benson County, North Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Benson County, North Dakota. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
