Punch press operator • Muskingum County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Muskingum County, Ohio. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
