Scaffolding labourer wanted in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns On a typical shift you will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
