Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Benton County, Oregon. Your main tasks: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Full-time with occasional weekends.
