Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Dallas County, Arkansas. On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 3+ years on the tools preferred.
