Lift technician wanted in Lane County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in Lane County, Kansas. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
