Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On the job you will handle: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Meals and transport allowance provided.
