Stainless steel welder wanted in Stevens County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Stevens County, Minnesota. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
