Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects The role involves: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
