Falsework carpenter — East Renfrewshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
