Scaffolding charge hand — Orumba North

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Orumba North, Anambra State. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. Day to day you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. You should have: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Overtime paid at a premium rate.
