Shuttering charge hand • Redcar and Cleveland, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Redcar and Cleveland, England. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings The role involves: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs 4+ years on the tools preferred.
