Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 5+ years on the tools preferred.
