Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
