Now hiring: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Day-to-day duties: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
