Immediate opening: we are hiring a floor screeder in Newton County, Arkansas. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Six days a week, one day off.
