Metal caster wanted in Sheridan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Sheridan County, North Dakota. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
