Urgent requirement: we are hiring a building site helper in Blackford County, Indiana. You will work on a residential housing site. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Full-time with occasional weekends.
