Now hiring: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Your main tasks: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Requirements: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
