Bar bender and fixer wanted in Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Madison County, Georgia. You will work on a busy residential building site. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
