Immediate opening: steel fixer (Ohio)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Auglaize County, Ohio. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Full-time, day shift.
