Great opportunity: earthmoving plant operator (Kaduna State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Soba, Kaduna State. You will work in an open-cast mine. Day to day you will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; check for underground cables and services before digging; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
