Vacancy available: industrial sewing operator (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Tucker County, West Virginia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 1+ years on the tools preferred.
