Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear.
