Catering cook wanted in Lapeer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a catering cook in Lapeer County, Michigan. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Day to day you will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
