Port container crane operator — Trempealeau County

The role involves watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
