Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Jefferson County, Colorado. The role involves check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Full-time with occasional weekends.
